In cooperation with AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry), the BMWK (German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action) supports German companies participating in trade fairs abroad. German companies as well as their foreign branches and agencies have the possibility to showcase their products and services at very attractive conditions.

German pavilions have a long tradition at Auto Shanghai: For more than 20 years, German companies have been taking part successfully in this kind of official joint company exhibition.

At the request of the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) there will be a “German Pavilion” at Auto Shanghai again in 2025.

German companies and their Chinese subsidiaries have the opportunity to present themselves in various ways:

  • at an approx. 2 sqm “information center”,
  • at their own stand with standard equipment (free choice of stand size from 9 sqm upwards),
  • at their own stand with individual stand design (from 50 sqm upwards).

--> Information: You would like to find out more about China and the automotive industry in connection with Auto Shanghai: Visit the GTAI information page (in German).

--> Application: You would like to register for the official “German Pavilion” at Auto Shanghai 2025: Please visit the online portal of the “German Pavilion” here.

The binding application deadline for the German Pavilion has been extended to 15 November, 2024.
